Elsewhere:

  • Use ProQuest Digital Dissertations to search for theses and dissertations completed worldwide. Full text of theses and dissertations is available for download from 1997 onwards.
  • If the title you want is not available in full text in ProQuest Digital Dissertations, check WorldCat to see if it is available in a library for interlibrary loan.
  • If the title you want is not available on interlibrary loan, the library can order a copy of the dissertation for you from UMI Dissertation Publishing.
    • The charge is $28.00 and the dissertation is yours to keep.
    • Please read the abstract of the dissertation in Proquest Digital Dissertations carefully to make sure the topic is applicable to your research. Once ordered, dissertations ordered through UMI are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
    • You will be required to fill out a purchase agreement (available at the Reference Desk or Circulation Desk in the library) before you can place an order.
