Students enrolled in the WebFlex or online MBA program
at Benedictine use a software program called Angel
to do their online coursework. However, online MBA students
use library resources through the library's Web site just
as all other Benedictine students do. Listed below are some
specific issues related to the use of library resources
by WebFlex students:
Database access:
- Most of the library's databases are available from
off-campus and thus to WebFlex or online students. Please
check the links toall
databases or the various links to databases
by subject to see which databases are available
from off campus.
- Your Library
ID Number is used for all databases. For those
databases whose access is controlled by EZproxy you will
also need to enter your last name.
If you aren't sure of your Library ID Number, please contact
the Reference Desk.
- For a printable/saveable list of the URLs (Internet
addresses) to resources available off-campus, please see
emergency off-campus
links.
- If you're having problems connecting from off campus,
please check the EZproxy
troubleshooting guide, or contact the Reference
Desk.
RefWorks:
Library tutorials & quiz:
- The library tutorials for the WebFlex/online MBA program
can be accessed via the Angel course server, or via
this link.
- The library quiz is hosted on the Angel
courseware server. The library staff does not have access
to this server. If you are having problems accessing the
library quiz, please call the Angel support desk at (866)
291-1166.
