What is the application deadline?

Benedictine has a rolling admissions policy. There is no final deadline. We suggest submitting your application during the first semester of your senior year in high school. Download the application.

Does Benedictine University offer scholarships?

Benedictine offers merit-based and other scholarships. Once accepted, students receive an award letter detailing their merit-based scholarship. View the available scholarships at Benedictine University.

Does Benedictine University accept Advanced Placement (AP) credit?

Yes! Benedictine University accepts AP credit based upon test scores. Our AP school code is 1707. View information about AP credit.

What if I do not meet Benedictine's admissions requirements?

We advise all students interested in attending Benedictine to set up an appointment with their Admissions counselor to go over the admissions process. You may still be eligible!

What are the ACT, SAT and FAFSA codes for Benedictine?

Our ACT code is 1337, our SAT code is 7243, and our FAFSA code is 001767.

Do I have to declare a major in my freshman year?

No. During your freshman year, you will work with a faculty advisor, who will assist you with course selection and mentor you while decide on a major.

What level does Benedictine compete at athletically?

The Benedictine Redhawks compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) (athletic scholarships can be offered at this level).

Do I have to be Catholic to attend Benedictine?

No. Benedictine is a very diverse campus with students from many different faiths.

Does Benedictine offer internship programs?

Yes. We have developed relationships with employers throughout the Mesa area. We even have opportunities for students to intern in the Chicago area. Advisors and faculty members are also great sources for potential internships.
