Dr. Therese Yaeger is the Associate Director of the Ph.D. in
Organization
Development program at Benedictine University, where she also
teaches
Organization Development and Management and Organizational Behavior
courses to various audiences in graduate, undergraduate and corporate
settings.
She is instrumental in developing the Benedictine University
Distance Learning Executive Program for the U.S. Postal Service,
and Off-Site Executive Development Programs for some of the largest
Chicago-area corporations including John Deere, Motorola, McDonald's
Corporation, and The University of Chicago Academy. She is also
a Registered OD Consultant through the OD Institute. She received
her Ph.D. from Benedictine University.
Yaeger has more than twenty years management experience, particularly
in
start-up operations and small business management. She frequently
presents at national and international conferences such as the
Academy of Management, the O. D. Institute, and the American Psychological
Association, and is the recipient of awards such as the Best Paper
Presentation at the OD Institute's Annual Conference 2001, and
a team member of three Outstanding ODI Project Awards.
Since 1999, she has been the co-chair the Organization Development
Track for the Midwest Academy of Management. She is an active
member of the Academy of Management, Midwest Academy of Management,
the OD Network, OD Institute, and the American Society for Training
and Development. Her research interests include international
and global organization development, organizational change, and
appreciative inquiry.
Publications:
She has authored more than 50 papers, presentations, and articles
including two books on Appreciative Inquiry, a third book on Global
and International Org. Development with Sorensen, Head and Cooperrider
(2001). She is an Editorial Associate of the OD Journal, and Chicago's
ASTD Training Today, has been a guest editor for Vol. 32, No.1
of the OD Practitioner, as well as guest editor of Vol. 18, No.
2, of the OD Journal, Summer 2000.
