Admissions Process

It is strongly recommended that you schedule a time to meet with an Admission Counselor. Admission Counselors will assist you throughout the admission process, in addition to providing you with a transfer and completion overview of your coursework. To schedule your appointment, please call Adult Accelerated Enrollment at (877) 353-9722.

Chicago and Suburbs
  1. Apply to Benedictine University (chose an option below)
    1. Apply Online
    2. Print an Application:
    3. Call the Adult Accelerated Enrollment at (877) 353-9722 and we will mail you an application.
  2. Request all official college / university transcripts to be mailed to Admissions:
    National Moser Center for Adult Learning, 1832 Center Point Circle, Suite 102, Naperville, IL 60563 or
    Bellwood Learning Center, 407 N. Mannheim Road, Bellwood, IL 60104

    1. If less than 20 transferable credits earned, request your official High School Transcripts, official ACT or SAT scores must be sent as well.
    2. If international credits have been earned, order an evaluation from ECE or Educational Perspectives to be sent to Benedictine University.
    3. If sending E-transcripts, have them sent to adultenrollment@ben.edu
  3. Your admission counselor may request additional materials if it is requested by the department or you did not meet the minimum admission requirements. You may be asked to submit:
    1. A personal statement
    2. Letter of reference by an academic or professional contact (required for all M.B.A. and M.Ed. applicants)
  4. Once your completed application has been received and reviewed, an admission counselor will personally contact you by phone with your admission status.
Central Illinois
  1. Apply to Benedictine University
    1. Apply online
    2. Download a hard copy
    3. Call the Admissions Office  at (217) 525-1420 and we will mail you an application
  2. Request all official college / university transcripts to be mailed to Benedictine University at Springfield (Admissions Office, 1500 N. 5th St, Springfield, IL  62702)
    1. If less than 20 transferable credits earned, request your official High School Transcripts, official ACT or SAT scores to Benedictine University at Springfield
    2. If international credits earned, order an evaluation from ECE to be sent to Benedictine University at Springfield
  3. Your admission representative may request additional materials if it is requested by the department or you did not meet the minimum admission requirements.  You may be asked to submit
    1. A personal statement
    2. Letter of reference by an academic or professional contact (required for all B.S.N. applicants)
  4. Once your completed application has been received and reviewed, an admission representative  will personally contact you by phone with your admission status
Southwest Arizona

  2. Request all official college / university transcripts to be mailed to Admissions:

An application can be sent to you by contacting an Admissions Advisor at (866) 295-3104. After contacting an Admissions Advisor and submitting your application, please select your area of study and complete the steps required for admission.
