Master of Science in Nursing (Online)

The online Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) program is designed to prepare registered nurses to become effective and ethical leaders and health educators in the health care industry of today and tomorrow.

Benedictine’s online M.S.N. curriculum aligns with the graduate education standards specified by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, which emphasize organizational and systems leadership, informatics and healthcare technologies, advocacy, interprofessional collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement and cultural awareness, among other valued professional nursing qualities and skills.

The Online MSN offers two concentrations that reflect needs and trends in the nursing profession and also allow students to tailor their studies toward their own career goals:

  • Nurse Educator: Learn to serve in teaching roles for patients and nurses in both clinical and academic settings.
  • Nurse Executive Leader: Plan and manage high-quality care initiatives and processes at administrative and executive levels.
