Mission Statement
Jurica Nature Museum

The Jurica Nature Museum commits itself to continue and to enhance the vision of the Reverends Hilary and Edmund Jurica, O.S.B., of educating students by engaging the various senses, especially the visual, auditory and tactile, through the discipline of the life sciences.

The goals of the Jurica Nature Museum are:

To welcome all visitors in the Benedictine tradition of hospitality;

To encourage greater appreciation and awareness of the environment and of our need to be responsible stewards of the earth;

To enhance life sciences education in the college community by creative dioramas, displays, and activities; and

To promote science education in the local community through outreach programs using museum artifacts and college students.
