Cross country runs at WLC Warrior Invitational

The women's cross country team finished third among 12 teams at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational on Saturday. The men's team was seventh out of nine teams. Sophomore Nora Becker garnered a top-10 finish by running a time of 26:14.6 for the six kilometer event. Becker's time was good enough for eighth place. Teammate Hannah Miller was close behind in 12th place in a clocking of 26:39.9. Freshman Stacy Aloisio and junior Jennifer Murray finished 16th and 17th, respectively , out of the field of 85 runners. Aliosio ran a 27:28.4, while Murray came in at 27:37.5. On the men's side, so-phomore Alex Arman placed 17th to lead Benedictine. Arman's finishing time for the eight kilometer race was 29:57.4. Freshman Clark Poro ran a personal best 30:51.9 to place second for the Eagles' team and 23rd overall. Fellow frosh Justin Vanderbilt was 26th (31:11.5).
