Benedictine University’s 42nd annual Educare Scholarship Ball will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the Krasa Student Center on the University campus. The Educare Scholarship Ball is the University’s largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the event go directly to the University’s scholarship fund. Last year’s Ball raised more than $150,000 for student scholarships. This year’s theme is “Safari – An Education Expedition” celebrating Benedictine University’s commitment to breaking new ground in education and exploring ways to bring its programs to new audiences throughout Illinois. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception in the Fireside Lounge. Dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. A silent auction, music and dancing will complete the evening’s program. For more information about the 42nd annual Educare Scholarship Ball, call Debbie Smith at (630) 829-6080.
