The Benedictine University men's basketball team had five players score in double figures on its way to a 66-57 Northern Athletics Conference victory over Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wis. The Eagles improved to 8-6 overall and 6-1 in the NAC. A balanced scoring attack was led by Dan Klecan and Tim Swanson, who each had 13 points. Travis Wilson added 12 points off of the BU bench. Jared Bailey and Rob Bridgeman (at right in photo) each contributed 11 points to the win. Bridgeman, Kleacan and Swanson each scored a pair of three-point baskets, as well. Bridgeman also pulled down nine rebounds. Jacob Carwell led all rebounders with 10 caroms. Bailey gave off a game-leading five assists. Benedictine led at the half by a 32-28 margin. With 9:22 left in the game, matters were knotted at 50-50 until four unanswered points by the Eagles put the team ahead to stay.
