For the second time this season, Benedictine University junior sprinter/hurdler Stacey Sara (Cary, Ill./Cary Grove H.S.) has been named as the Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for women's outdoor track and field. Sara won the 100m dash (13.07) and 100 hurdles (16.00) at the Concordia University Chicago Cougar Invitational. In the 100 hurdles, Sara missed the school record by one one-hundredth of a second . She also finished second in the 200m (26.87) on her way to contributing 30 points to the Lady Eagles third place finish at the event.
