Freshman R.J. Schwalbach (pictured at right) shot a three-over-par 73 to finish in a tie for seventh place at the Elmhurst Invitational at the Oak Brook Golf Course. The Eagles were seventh out of nine schools in the team standings. Teammates Jon Price, a freshman, and Andrew Delaney, a sophomore transfer, both carded rounds of 77 (tied for 15th place). After struggling on the out nine with a 42, Delaney righted the ship coming in to the clubhouse and tied for the best score for the final nine holes with a 35. Matt Jones was the Eagles' fourth scoring member, turning in a 92 for the day.
