The Eagles' softball squad found scoring difficult on Saturday, as the Benedictine team was swept by Marian College, 6-1 and 5-1, in a Northern Athletics Conference doubleheader in Fond du Lac, Wis. Benedictine is now 21-16-1 overall and 15-6 in the NAC. Melissa Kennedy and Lisa Rybak absorbed the losses in the twinbill. Kennedy is now 14-7, while Rybak fell to 7-9. No Eagles had more than one hit in either game. In the first game, Kennedy drove in her team's only run with a two-out solo home run in the BU sixth. It was Kennedy's team-leading fourth roundtripper of the year. Katie Bellich was credited with the Eagles' lone RBI of game two.
