The loss snapped the team's 12-match win skein, dropping its overall record to 16-2 and 3-1 in the NAC. The tandem of freshman outside hitter Kayla Leyden and sophomore outside hitter Sarah Ruzicka led Benedictine with 19 and 15 kills, respectively. Senior middle hitter Danielle Mikos added 13 kills and sophomore Sarah Porod was also in double-digit kill totals with 10. Mikos also had a game-leading six blocks and two serve aces. Senior setter Angela Vitto had 47 set assists and 13 digs. Sarah Flores led the team with 18 digs and had two aces. Leyden and Vitto each had two aces, as well. Leyden booked 16 digs.
