Community residents can get gardening tips for the upcoming spring from a professional landscaper and enjoy a complimentary lunch during Benedictine University’s “Lunch with Landscapers” from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 on the second floor of the Krasa Student Center. David Baker, a certified arborist with Bartlett Tree Experts in Woodridge, will be the main presenter. Bartlett Tree Experts offers a variety of services including landscape consultation, plant health care, diagnostics, and removal and replanting. Baker will share with those in attendance how best to prune their trees and shrubs for the upcoming spring season. The free event is sponsored by the Office of Campus Services at Benedictine University. Guests will receive a thank-you gift for attending and be eligible to win prizes. Space is limited and guests must R.S.V.P. by February 12 to Liz Hill at ehill@ben.edu or by calling (630) 829-6004.
