The Benedictine volleyball team went the distance Tuesday night - in terms of driving and length of the match - in dropping a 3-2 decision (23-25, 26-24, 19-25, 25-21, 9-15) at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. The loss left the Eagles' record at 11-14 overall and 5-5 in the Northern Athletics Conference. Sophomore Kayla Leyden led the team with 19 kills, while also making 17 digs. Teammate Kate McGuire added 11 kills Senior Amanda Distasio led the BU defense with 20 digs. Benedictine will try to rebound on Saturday when it plays host to Domincan University (2:00 p.m.) at the Rice Center.
