The Benedictine volleyball team lost a tough 3-1 decision (23-25, 25-22, 22-25, 23-25) at Edgewood College in a Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) match. The loss dropped the Eagles to 9-11 overall and 3-2 in the NAC. Sophomore Kayla Leyden led the team with 20 kills, twice as many as anyone else from either team in the match. Leyden also had 18 digs. Sarah Porod added 10 kills and two blocks, while Sierra Griffin had four blocks of her own, along with seven kills. Senior Amanda Distasio led BU with 22 digs on defnse. The setter tandem of freshman Taylor Hoppe and Jessica Judge had 18 and 16 assists, respectively.
