The Benedictine women's golf program played host to the Benedictine Invitational on Tuesday (Sept. 2) afternoon at the Maple Meadows Golf Course in Wood Dale, Ill. Elmhurst College won the event, which featured players from six schools. Muriel McIntyre from Concordia University (Wis.) was the medalist by shooting a nine-over-par 79 on the sweltering course. The host Eagles were led by Lori Ann Puchalski, who carded a 109 (good for a tie for 15th place in the overall standings).
