Eagles' Bailey earns NAC weekly men's basketball honor

Benedictine University senior guard Jared Bailey (Argo, Ill./Argo Community H.S.) has been named as the Northern Athletics Conference men's basketball "Student-Athlete of the Week" for the period ending January 11. Bailey hit a creditable 63-percent from the field and 63-percent from three-point range in leading the Eagles to a pair of wins, extending the team's win streak to four games. He also went 7-of-9 from the free throw line. Bailey averaged 18.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in wins over Concordia University Chicago and Marian University last week.
