The Benedictine University track and field team had several individuals produce top-10 finishes at the Carthage College Metzger Invitational indoor track and field meet. The Eagles' men's team finished 12th and the women were 15th. On the Benedictine men's docket, sophomore Dylan Roff turned in a trio of top placements. Roff was second in the 800 meters in a time of 2:09.78. He was also sixth in the 55-meter hurdles with an 8.23 (after running an 8.19 in his qualifying heat) and ninth in the long jump (6.25 meters). Junior Devin Montgomery was ninth in the weight throw (12.69 meters). Robert Sanford finished 10th in the 55 meter dash (6.79 seconds), while teammate Raja Mukherjee was 10th in the triple jump (12.62 meters). On the women's side, the senior tandem of Jenn Murray and Hannah Miller each garnered sixth place finishes. Murray ran a 2:42.65 minutes in the 800 meters and Miller posted a time of 11:33.83 minutes in the 3,000 meters. Megan Kunesh placed 10th in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 9.96 seconds. Danielle Smith was 10th in the mile in a time of 5:50.43.
