Lisle, Illinois ~ A gathering of 280 Benedictine University trustees, alumni, faculty, staff and friends attended a fundraising event to support the completion of the Daniel L. Goodwin Hall of Business at the Lisle/Naperville Hilton on March 28.
The inaugural Chairman’s Ball was a sold out affair at which guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and a live performance by Frank Sinatra Jr.
Named in honor of Goodwin, a longtime University supporter and member of Benedictine's Board of Trustees, the innovative four-story building is currently scheduled to open its doors later this fall and will provide students with a cutting-edge learning environment.
The new building includes classrooms, study areas, offices, a Starbucks cafe, a 40-seat, state-of-the-art trading laboratory, auditorium and space to house all College of Business programs, including the University’s Master of Business Administration program and the innovative Ph.D. in Organization Development and Ph.D./D.B.A. in Values-Driven Leadership programs.
