Lisle, Ill. ~ Summer school is becoming an increasingly popular option for college students. Summer school allows students to catch up or get ahead academically, take smaller classes and receive more personal attention from an instructor, and face fewer distractions due to lighter course loads.
Visiting students can get ahead academically by taking one, two or more of any number of regular and blended (combining classroom and online instruction) courses being offered at Benedictine University this summer. Students from other four-year institutions such as Notre Dame, New York University, Georgetown and Miami of Ohio are among the visiting students who have already registered.
All current Benedictine undergraduate students and incoming freshmen are eligible to take summer courses at the reduced tuition rate of $495 per semester credit hour. Admitted freshmen are also eligible for further tuition reductions on selected first-year classes. Visiting students are not eligible for these discounts.
