Professional Biography:
Julie Davis is an full-time Instructor for the Department of Nutrition. She earned
her B.S. from Eastern Illinois University in 1984. She completed her Dietetic
Internship and earned her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University in 1985.
Ms. Davis has worked in both
clinical dietetics and food service management, as well as serving as a consultant in long
term care. She joined the faculty at Benedictine University in 1998. She is active in the West
Suburban Dietetic Association, serving as the Treasurer and member of Programs Committee. She is a member
of the Illinois Dietetic Association finance committee.
Her special interests include alternative nutrition
therapy, food systems management, and energy needs and weight management.
