Benedictine University is an independent Roman Catholic institution and one of the Midwest's top universities (ranked 11th in Illinois among Master's Universities) with more than a century of producing business leaders and problem-solvers.
Benedictine University is now offering a Bachelor of Arts in Management (B.A.M.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) programs in Peoria. These programs enhance students' employability, increase their earning potential and provide them with the knowledge and tools to be innovators and leaders in today's business marketplace.
The programs provide Peoria area students with quality, convenience and affordability, and are designed to teach value-oriented leadership with a focus on ethical, socially responsible behavior. All classes are taught by instructors with real-world business experience.
All Benedictine classes are held on the campus of Illinois Central College (ICC). Students with no college credit can complete their associate degree at ICC before transferring to Benedictine. B.A.M. classes are offered in the traditional, 16-week format or in learning team format with students attending class at night once a week.
Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree can earn an M.B.A. by taking classes one day per week in the evening. The Benedictine M.B.A. imparts superior, practical management skills, orients learners to best business practices, and instills a sense of personal and lifelong commitment to improving the leadership within organizations.
Classes begin Fall 2011 at Illinois Central College's main campus.
