Our students represent a diverse spectrum of working professionals seeking to grow academically, personally and professionally. We offer a breadth of program options specifically designed for adult learners to develop essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills beyond specific discipline content.
Academic advising at Benedictine University is an important component of the learning process. Advisers are interested in getting to know students and in supporting them as they explore and define their academic plans. Advisors help students achieve their academic and personal goals by walking them through college entrance procedures, evaluating transcripts, reviewing new student orientation information, assisting with course registration process, assisting with long-range academic planning and degree requirements. Furthermore, all students are invited to take advantage of additional advising opportunities designed to help them explore career options, start job searching, and build professional networks.
