Our students represent a diverse spectrum of working professionals seeking to grow academically, personally and professionally. We offer a breadth of program options specifically designed for adult learners to develop essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills beyond specific discipline content.

Bachelor of Arts in Management (B.A.M.)

The Bachelor of Arts in Management (B.A.M.) program curriculum is designed to enable graduates to effectively function in increasingly complex business environments. The program focuses on skill development in the areas of management and leadership, group behavior, accounting and economics, marketing and project management.

The B.A.M. program challenges students to develop knowledge, skills and personal values through a well-planned, sequenced curriculum. Many students who complete the B.A.M. program earn a Benedictine University M.B.A. degree with just 12-28 months of additional study.

B.A.M. program instructors provide extensive real world knowledge creating the context for a meaningful educational experience and focus on providing theory coupled with practical applications that students can use immediately. Instructional methods include lectures, seminars, workshop activities, simulations and business case studies. Each class forms study groups to assist in the learning process.


Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)

The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) programat Benedictine University has prepared students for managerial roles in corporate and human service organizations for more than 30 years. By conveying practical knowledge and essential skills in such areas as management, accounting, economics, finance, strategy and marketing, the Benedictine M.B.A. provides the analytical and theoretical tools essential to make sound business decisions. The M.B.A., widely recognized as a powerful professional credential, is an essential factor for your career growth and leadership development.


The Master of Business Administration requires a total of 64 quarter credit-hours (equivalent of 16 courses).

The Managerial Process — 28 credit-hours

(Plus 12 elective credits for a total of 64 credit-hours)

Students may be eligible for a maximum 32 credit-hours of course transfers/substitutions for prior academic work.

Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program is designed to educate students to be critical thinkers; to acquire, understand and synthesize knowledge pertaining to the criminal justice system; to learn research methodology and how it can be applied to questions of the correctional process and law creation, law enforcement and criminological theory; and to solve problems independently and cooperatively.
