Working adults seeking to earn a college degree now have another alternative.

Benedictine University’s new “Weekend College” program allows adults to take classes on Saturdays or Sundays only. Students can complete their associate’s or bachelor’s degree in about two years.

“Weekend College makes earning a college degree more convenient and less time-consuming than other adult programs,” said Tanesha Pittman, associate dean of the Margaret and Harold Moser College of Adult and Professional Studies at Benedictine University.

Benedictine University offers the following degree programs through Weekend College: an Associate of Arts in Business Administration (A.A.B.A.); a Bachelor of Arts in Management (B.A.M.); and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).

Classes meet for four hours per weekend: either 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturdays or 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Sundays. The program operates on the learning team model in which all students start the program at the same time and take each course in sequence.

To learn more about Weekend College, attend an open house from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1 or from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5 at the Moser Center, 1832 Centre Point Circle, Suite 102, Naperville, or call the Enrollment Center at (630) 829-6300.
