4/15 An information session for the Master of Public Health will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15 in the Krasa Presentation Room.

4/23- 4/24 The Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's national signature event where teams spend the night honoring cancer survivors and remembering those who passed away because of this disease. Last year, Benedictine University organized 49 teams that raised nearly $50,000 and received a national award for raising $24.91 per capita, which means that the University raised the most money per person in its area. The Benedictine University Relay for Life committee hopes to organize at least 65 teams in 2004 with a goal of raising at least $70,000. 4/24 The Center for Intergenerational Health is coordinating a Senior Health Fair to be held on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Fairview Village in Downers Grove. The fair is focused on improving the health of the elderly in the community. There will be health, nutrition, and fitness education displays and handouts, high blood pressure screening, food, and prizes. Health education booths will provide information on a variety of health topics, including Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, and Osteoporosis. Members of the community are invited to join the fun! The cost is free.
