Internship Opportunities
Internships and practica encourage students to develop professional skills in their
chosen career field while providing them with the valuable work experience needed in an economically
competitive work world. Internships and practica are credit bearing. Only degree seeking students
can enroll in internships and practica offered by the health-related programs.
As an undergraduate, in order to
receive credit for an internship or practicum, you must have completed 60 semester hours and fulfilled
any academic course and G.P.A. requirements set forth by the particular department.
Internships and practica must be approved by the Internship Coordinator of the
particular undergraduate or graduate program. Most of the Benedictine University
health-related programs require completion of an
internship or practicum to earn a degree. Refer to the health-related
program curriculum of interest for details.
