Writing Across the Curriculum at Benedictine University

The Writing Program at Benedictine University subscribes to the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) philosophy: writing is central to students' education and belongs to and in every discipline. WAC began in the the 1960s and gathered strength in the 1980s; it now informs Writing Programs in one third of U.S. Colleges and Universities.

This website is designed to aid both students and instructors with links to some of the many useful WAC sites, syllabi, and course materials.
