Concert and Events
Concert at Noon
Monthly concerts featuring Benedictine University faculty, students, and colleagues. The performances are held in a warm and inviting space in the student center referred to as the fireside lounge. Everyone is welcome to attend and of course, to bring their lunch.
Festival of the Arts
Each semester the music students of Benedictine University’s Department of Music are showcased in this weekend long event. Every student ensembles presents a concert and students perform in recital either as soloists or as members of a specific student organization. Our Preparatory Program also presents the best students in performance during this event in a recital of its own.
Lessons and Carols
An annual service which features scriptural readings and music preparing us for the Christmas season. Students and faculty perform sacred works while the audience joins in singing Christmas carols.
Sacred Concert
A performance dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Students, faculty and other professional musician join together to celebrate the Month of the Church through sacred works devoted to her and secular works which express the same beauty.
