News: Department major named Wingspread Fellow for 2009-2010 academic year
4/9/09 | Literature and political science double major Adnan Mujagic has been named a Wingspread Fellow for the upcoming academic year. The Melvin Brorby Wingspread Fellows Program brings students from fourteen colleges and universities throughout the Midwest to professional conferences held at “Wingspread,” the Racine, WI, estate designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Herbert F. Johnson, Jr., the third-generation leader of the Johnson Wax Company. Through the program, The Johnson Foundation hosts a few articulate, highly motivated, socially concerned students as observers at these 2-3 day conferences, which are intensive meetings of experts to discuss a variety of issues in all fields of inquiry.
Mr. Mujagic joins Literature major Melissa Feinberg as one of ten Wingspread Fellows from Benedictine. Senior Literature major Jennifer Erickson, who is also double majoring in political science, is an outgoing Wingspread Fellow.
The Department congratulates these students on their outstanding achievements.
