Concert band, clarinet students display talents at "Festival of the Arts"

The Benedictine University Department of Music will present its semiannual “Festival of the Arts” Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8, at Scholl Hall on the Benedictine campus and at St. Daniel Hall at Benet Academy.
The festival begins on Saturday, November 7 with a recital by students in the preparatory music program and applied students at 1:00 p.m. in Scholl Hall, Room 101.
The festival continues at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8 at St. Daniel Hall with a performance by the Benedictine University Concert Band under the direction of Maryann Flock. The performance is titled “Animal Vegetable Mineral.”
Sunday’s performances conclude with recitals by juniors Stefanie Lostumbo (clarinet) and Meagan Walsh (bass clarinet) at 7:30 p.m. in Scholl Hall, Room 101.
