Weather: What to Expect
The summer weather season features normal Chicago temperatures
from the lower and mid 80s/low 60s by mid July. Just over 11 inches
of rain can be expected for the three month period, though this
summer has been one of the driest on record.
In the last half of June, the weather has been usually hot,
with temperatures in the low to mid 90s (30-34 celsius). The suburbs,
where Benedictine University is located, are often warmer than
the city of Chicago. When we visit the city of Chicago, a cooler
breeze can be felt in the downtown area due to cooling effects
off of Lake Michigan.
Please see the "What to Bring" page for the clothes
you should bring.
