Leadership Coaching
You don’t have to be a coach to learn how to coach others.
The Academy for Leadership Coaching will help you develop your own
leadership abilities and show you how to draw the best from others as
you train them to be effective leaders.
Be a leader and teach others
how to become leaders!
This program is designed to teach coaching and leadership skills to people from all walks of life.
Whether you are a first responder, a business professional, an hourly worker or leader in a church or
community organization, you will benefit by learning how to increase your effectiveness and develop
stronger leadership abilities. The courses – Values Clarification, Personality Exploration and My
Leadership Style – stress coaching principles and give students the opportunity to practice coaching
skills in an energetic and interactive classroom under the supervision of a certified coach. Classroom
experience and practice is reinforced with individual coaching sessions during the week between classes.
The Academy is divided into two levels (Level I and II must be completed to earn a certificate).
Level I consists of three, three-and-a-half hour classes: Values Clarification, Personality Exploration
and My Leadership Style. Level II courses reinforce coaching skills by exploring topics as Conflict
Management, Change Readiness, Relationship Building, Interpersonal Communication and Work
Life Balance. The Academy for Leadership Coaching Level I courses are approved for continuing
education credits for human resources professionals, teachers and social workers.
