Join other women in a five-week series designed to help you meet
your goals.
Create a blueprint for your
career success!
This five-week series offers women an opportunity to develop individual strategic marketing plans
to help them achieve their goals whether they are employed, self-employed or just coming back to
the workforce.
Women will learn:
• How a strategic marketing plan can help you achieve your goals over the next
three to five years
• Options for women as employees and entrepreneurs plus identifying your goals
• The power of women and networking plus identifying specific and
measurable objectives
• Negotiating what you’re worth (and you are priceless)
• Specific action steps to achieve career success
Each woman will be inspired by the content, supported by the
course leader and the curriculum, and surrounded by other
extraordinary women.
Week 1: Overview of Women @ Work: Past, Present and Future plus the introduction of the Strategic Marketing Plan—what is it and how can it help you achieve your goals over the next three to five years?
Week 2: Welcome to Your Career: Options for Women as Employees and Entrepreneurs plus identifying each participants’ goal
Week 3: Success on Your Own Terms: The Power of Women and Networking plus identifying specific and measurable objectives
Week 4: Show Me the Money! Negotiating What You’re Worth (And You’re Priceless) plus crafting strategies for the Strategic Marketing Plan
Week 5: Leadership & Legacies: Getting Your Seat at the Table plus completing the Strategic Marketing Plan with tactics—specific action steps to achieve career success
The Women @ Work Series
Facilitator
Vickie Austin is the founder of CHOICES Worldwide, a company
with offices in Wheaton, Chicago and Phoenix that offers coaching
services to individuals, entrepreneurs and executives. Austin has
been coaching for more than 10 years and helps her clients achieve
their ambitious business and career goals through strategic planning.
She has taught seminars and workshops all over the world and
she has served as adjunct faculty at Roosevelt University, Lewis
University and the College of DuPage’s Small Business Development
Center. Austin earned a master’s degree in international management
from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International
Management. Chairman of the board of directors of the Wheaton
Chamber of Commerce, Austin was recently selected by the Business Ledger
and the National Association of Women Business Owners as an Influential
Woman in Business for 2007.
