Visio 2002 Professional is a powerful technical
diagramming tool that can assist you in visualizing and
communicating ideas, information, and systems. Any large
project requires careful planning and design, and Visio
is ideal for diagramming database schema, creating technical
schematics, planning networks, and designing software applications.
MSDNAA provides Visio in order to assist in teaching students
good design techniques.

Software Installation
IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend closing
all open applications and windows and disabling background
applications before installing any of the software.
- Insert the Visio Professional 2002 disk in the CD-ROM
drive. The Setup program should start automatically. If
it does not, double-click SETUP.EXE in the CD-ROM
directory.
- Follow the instructions given by the Microsoft Visio
Setup Wizard.
PRODUCT ACTIVATION: Visio requires a unique
product key for each machine so each student who checks
out Visio should receive his or her own product key.
SERVICE RELEASE: We recommend that you install
the latest service release for Visio 2002. Obtain the
Visio Professional 2002 Service
Release 1 (SR-1) from the Site Administrator.
