Through the 2000 HHMI Grant funds, a course was developed
that focuses on the use of Problem-Based Learning to effectively
teach science concepts and processes in the science classroom.
The goal of the class is to engage learners in a real world
problem dealing with alternative energy vehicles and renewable
energy resources. The class is entitled EDUC 528T Science
