The weekly fee is $185 ($148 for Week 4). Camp runs from 7:30
a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Full session price will
be charged regardless of whether child(ren) will attend all day,
per session. Children should be dropped off no later than 9:00
a.m. and picked up no later than 5:30 p.m. Guardians will be charged $1 per
minute for any late pick ups. There is a second
child discount of $10 per session. The Summer
Fun Day Camp qualifies for a U.S. Income Tax deduction. Provider number is included on
all receipts.
Refund Policy
To receive a full refund (minus $20 deposit), cancellations must
be made by 5:30 p.m. the Thursday prior to the cancelled camp
week. No refunds will be issued for later cancellations. Cancellations
can be made in person, by phone or bye-mail.
Lunch and Snacks
Lunch is provided each day from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the University's
cafeteria. Because of the later lunch time, we ask campers to
bring a healthy snack with them to cure the mid-morning munchies.
These are not refrigerated.
Supplies
For protection and easy identification, campers are REQUIRED to
wear their official camp t-shirt every day. All personal items
will be stored in lockers while at camp. Campers will be responsible
for their own items. Expensive and electronic devices are discouraged.
Trading cards are prohibited. Each child should bring a combination
(not a key) lock. Campers should also bring a towel and swimsuit
daily. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather;
shorts and gym shoes are recommended in good weather, but open
toe sandals are discouraged. All items should be labeled and carried
in a small tote bag/backpack. Each child is given one t-shirt
the first day of their first week ONLY. Additional t-shirts are
$10 each.
Conduct/Attendance
Campers are asked to conduct themselves in a constructive, positive
manner so everyone will enjoy each and every day of fun! Active
participation will be important for your child to have a successful
day. Campers not participating or behaving poorly may be dismissed
from camp. It is the parents responsibility to notify the
camp director if a child will miss a day. Please bring late-arrivals
to the Rice Center, where campers will then be brought to their
group.
