Our On-Call Nanny Specialist will have the opportunity to work with a variety of families having different numbers of children from all age groups. The opportunity is available in both short-term, 2-4 months, or for a long-term commitment. If you are involved with or looking to gain experience in the fields of, childcare, healthcare, nursing, teaching, or child development, this can be a great opportunity. Extreme reliability and dependability; our families are all counting on you. College Nannies & Tutors has agreements with large corporations in Chicago-land to provide childcare in a back-up, secondary, and or emergency type role. The positions will normally run full days, and may sometimes be for multiple days. Due to the nature of the situations, "back-up, secondary, emergency", the assignments are often awarded the night before, even the morning of the jobs. Full days normally start between (7-9AM and ending between 4-6pm) half-days will always be a minimum of 4 hours. Some On-Call jobs are set weeks in advance and at times they are given to us the morning of the job. Normally we have 1-3 days notice. Seeking Nanny for friendly twin 10 month old girls. Regularly House-sitting 2-4 nights a week. Normally Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night. And sometimes one week night. When the girls are asleep we have to be out and usually would be back no later than midnight. We have a security system and live in a very safe neighborhood but obviously someone needs to be home when the girls are sleep. We are open to trying to match the amount of hours you are looking for committing to each week. One day out of the weekend we need help with the girls during the day. The babies are very friendly, they play together. Eat together, sleep together, they sleep at 6:30pm and wake up at 8:30am.
Job Description:
- feeding them
- bathing them
- playing with them
- reading to them and showing them their babys can read video
- strolling them
- watching them play
- putting them to bed
- when they are asleep you can do as you please (watch tv, read, etc.)
- light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, keeping house neat)

Qualifications: Must be friendly, enjoy children, has own transportation, reliable, wants to stay for the long term and be a part of their lives. Minimum: working towards or already received a Bachelor's degree. Available weekend days and nights. Friday-Sunday. And as much as possible during the week a plus. A Plus: working towards a child related degree and lives in naperville.
Salary: The pay is negotiable: the range we felt appropriate is $8-10/ hr since most of the time you would be house-sitting and they do not wake up at night so you can do your homework. Watch TV, etc.
