individual product plans for the title under his or her oversight. Develops
prototypes and product specifications and participates in budgeting process.
Develops and presents competitive component plans. Manages one or two
staff editors and/ or a small team of freelancers throughout the development
process. Ensures the component is completed on time, on budget, in alignment
with original product vision and meets high standards of quality.
Experience: Graduate or undergraduate degree required, with a focus
on Reading subject area strongly preferred. Knowledge of education methodologies
and instructional design required. Must be proficient user of computers
and software programs, including MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. Teaching
experience at elementary and/or in the Reading subject areas strongly
preferred.
