Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions is seeking part-time teachers to prepare students for admission exams. If you scored well on your admission test and would like to help others do the same, apply today! Part-Time SAT and ACT Instructors (6-20 hrs/wk):
If you've scored a 680 or better on the Math and Verbal sections of the SAT (Kaplan instructors all teach math, verbal, and writing), you've passed the first step! A composite score of 27 is required for the ACT. If your SAT scores are more than five years old, you may take a qualifying test at any Kaplan center.
Due to our class schedules, we ask that you be available to teach at least two weeknights and/or weekends. All classes are held in the evenings or on weekend mornings/afternoons.
Classes are held in our centers as well as throughout the community.
Those willing to travel must have access to transportation (mileage compensated in line with prevailing policy).
No teaching experience is necessary (although it is preferred). We
will train you to be a great instructor. Prep time and training are paid.
You should be a great presenter, a believer in the effectiveness of
Kaplan's methods, a caring and compassionate mentor of students and a responsible employee.
