Cabin Counselors
Responsibilities:
June 22- August 23, salary $1,400 to 2,300 based on experience plus room, board and performing opportunities. Duties include: living with 10-12 campers, eating with your assigned cabin, supervise clean-up details, plan recreational and social activities, work 15-20 hours a week at a specific work assignment and consistently evaluate and act on all campers' special needs, problems and concerns. Work assignments include the following assistantships: visual art, piano, jazz, dance, choir, band, orchestra, theater, harp, jazz, life guarding, recreation, stage crew, music, library. Opportunities include: performing experience in Faculty- staff ensembles, recitals and solo competition; meeting professional faculty from across the country; gaining experience in counseling, performing and possibly teaching.
Experience: Performing experience for college musicians: vocalists, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxes, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, piano, harp. Musicians have the opportunity to perform with faculty in the Blue Lake Festival Teaching positions with junior campers are available for those who qualify. Placement based in recorded audition. Blue Lake seeks violinists, violists, cellists and bassists to perform with the Festival Orchestra throughout the Blue Lake Summer Arts Festival! Excellent opportunities for those who qualify.

Camp Counselors
Responsibilities:
Camp Wehakee invites you: to be a part of a team of counselors who work with girls in cabin life, but also work in a variety of programs. These include: lifeguarding, canoeing, kayaking, ministry, photography, water-skiing, nature, pottery, field and court sports, sailing, horseback riding, gymnastics, dance, drama, swimming and art and jewelry. We are seeking female students who will inspire our Wahakee girls with the highest ideals. We need women whose lives embrace the same values of Camp Wehakee. We have opportunities as camp counselors who also act as activity leaders. Activities include sports, music, water activities, horseback riding, theater and much more. Our camp counselors practice their skills as leaders. Salary, meals and housing provided. Dates early June to early August. Because every girl isn't the same, wants to be at a place where people care, wants to make a best friend and wants a place to touch the stars.

The students would be helping greet fans, pass out brochures, and encourage people to sign up for free raffles for the various sponsers. 60 people are needed. The student will be operating either a data capture kiosk and encouraging fans to sign up, operating a racing simulator, or taking photos of guests.
