Welcome to Benedictine University's Career Development Center! We assist students by providing opportunities and resources to encourage career exploration.

Meet with our staff to go over your resume or do mock interviews. Register for services and participate in events.

The Career Development Center is currently hiring for a
Peer Career Advisor

As a Peer Career Advisor you will be able to:

Build your career knowledge and resume as you help others with theirs
Make an impact on the Benedictine campus
Enhance your communication, organization, marketing, and team skills
Have a paid job that looks great on your resume
Use the job as an undergraduate or graduate internship for academic credit

We are looking for a student currently enrolled in a Benedictine Graduate program who is able to commit at least one academic year to the position.

Mission Statement for Career Development
The Career Development Office offers comprehensive services to assist students and alumni in developing, implementing and evaluating career and life plans. Our goal is to promote personal and professional development by utilizing a holistic approach to achieve their career goals, provide them with a foundation to become self-directed learners, and educate them through the career planning process.

This mission will be accomplished through collaboration with students, alumni, faculty and employers and a commitment to empowering students and alumni to be active participants in their own career development process.
