Federal Loan Fees and Interest Rates
Benedictine University participates in the Federal Family Education
Loan Program (FFLEP) for processing both Federal Stafford and
PLUS loans. Congress set the interest rate, origination fee, and
default fee for FFLEP programs with the enactment of the Higher
Education Reconciliation Act of 2005 (HERA).
