"Great 1942 Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby production with charisma, charm, and chemistry…this is my very favorite all-time Christmas movie. Astaire and Crosby are at the height of their abilities and the script is campy but funny and the sets and scenes are beautifully filmed in black and white. The only questionable scene is a black face number that was so vaudevillian and indicative of the time, but that aside Irving Berlin’s score includes the introduction of White Christmas and Astaire’s 'drunk dance' and 'firecracker dance' are some of his best screen work by far."
