| In 1912, a further addition was made to the building which more than doubled the size of the facility. On September 5, 1913, the new west wing was blessed by the Most Rev. James E. Quigley. | ||||

| The far west section of this wing contained a powerhouse (for heat, electricity, and hot water), a laundry, and living quarters for the Benedictine Sisters who staffed the kitchen. |
