Which call numbers and materials are on which floors?

• Reference books (call numbers beginning with R) are on the main (2nd) floor.
  
  
• Circulating books are on floors 4 and 5:
  • Call numbers 000 - 699 and 800 - 899: 5th floor
  • Call numbers 700 - 799 and 900 - 999: 4th floor
  • Call numbers beginning with "OS": 5th floor
    
    
• Journals, magazines and newspapers are on the 3rd floor. This includes current issues, bound volumes, and volumes held in microfilm or microfiche.
  
  
• Videos, CDs, cassettes and other multimedia materials are on the north end of the main (2nd) floor.
  
  
• Educational materials & juvenile books are also located on the north end of the main (2nd) floor.
  
  
• State & Federal Government Documents are located on the 4th floor.
  
  
• Special Collections and the University Archives are closed to the public. However, you may request materials by filling out a form at the Reference Desk or by making an appointment with Anne Hector at (630) 829-6058.

How do I use the compact shelving on the 3rd floor?
