Mission Statement:

The mission of Benedictine University Police Department is to provide resources to ensure a safe campus environment and improve the quality of life within our University community.

Introduction:

Benedictine University police officers come from both municipal and college/university police agencies. Our officers are familiar with the daily trials and tribulations you will face while attending Benedictine University.

University police officers are here to help you in any way we can. Whether you need someone to help you get into your locked car or just someone to talk to, Benedictine University Police are here to make your Benedictine experience safe and positive.

Benedictine University Police employ Illinois certified police officers who have full police powers including arrest. Our police officers bring specialized training and experience to Benedictine University, which will allow us to provide you with strong service and mentoring relationships with students.

University police officers bring a combined 80 years of law enforcement experience and training to the campus. University police officers will be available for presentations to classes, student groups and other campus entities as needs arise. Topics may include, crime prevention, personal safety, alcohol/drug awareness, violence in the work place, etc.
