The Dan and Ada Rice Center is the home venue for all Benedictine
University indoor athletic events, hosting intercollegiate volleyball matches,
basketball games and swim meets. It provides a great "home-court"
advantage for our competing teams and also serves as a daily practice facility
for indoor sports programs. The multi-purpose floor in the Rice Center also
adapts as a back-up practice facility for outdoor sports when necessary.
The Rice Center also serves the campus as the main recreational
center for Benedictine students who have access to open gym time, weight training
equipment, fitness equipment, open swimming times, intramural sports and other
campus recreational pursuits. Special events, such as concerts, speakers, forums
and ceremonies are also held in the Rice Center.
